Lauren Keys is a writer, speaker, and consultant. She has three children and a home with pets. One day she started writing a book about her perception of some of the significant events in her life and how they shaped her personal journey through life, and the way she interacted with others. Her story is a brutally honest portrayal of what happened to her and how she changed her entire way of thinking, feeling, and acting after learning why she allowed people to treat her a certain way. Her journey reshaped her relationship with God. In writing her story, she hopes to shed truth and light on the subject of abuse and gives others a way to feel understood, supported, and hopefully be a vehicle to change. Her story is not intended to cause harm or ill thoughts about others. Hers is a story of insight, compassion, and wisdom; one of redemption and forgiveness.
